50 Cent is delving into the world of drug lords once again, teaming up with BET to develop an unscripted TV series centered around Margarito and Pedro Flores.
These twin brothers, hailing from Chicago, rose to infamy as “the most prolific drug dealers in the city’s history” before turning the tables and collaborating with the DEA to dismantle the notorious Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman.
The narrative of the Flores brothers was previously explored in 50 Cent’s podcast, “Surviving El Chapo: The Twins Who Brought Down a Drug Lord,” where he served as an executive producer and host. The upcoming television series, titled “The Twins,” is positioned as a complementary offering to the podcast, as reported by Deadline.
The conclusion of the second season of “Surviving El Chapo” unfolded earlier this month, paving the way for this new venture.
This development marks another success for 50 Cent’s G-Unit Film & Television company. Recent reports reveal that the rapper and entrepreneur secured approval from the Shreveport City Council in Louisiana to take control of a substantial studio, according to KSLA12.
