2 Chainz, also known as Tauheed K. Epps, has taken on a role in the third season of the television crime drama BMF (Black Mafia Family). In a recent interview with The Source, he discussed how he prepared for his role and his experience working on the show.
He mentioned that his character’s name is Stacks and expressed his excitement about seeing the final product. He took the role seriously and made an effort to study and prepare for it. He acknowledged the help he received from Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr., who portrays his own father, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, in the series.
Lil Meech helped him through some challenging aspects of the role by rehearsing and practicing with him. 2 Chainz also gave credit to Lil Meech’s acting coach for lending a hand in his preparation.
2 Chainz expressed his anticipation for the show’s release, saying he couldn’t wait for it to come out. He also praised Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, who serves as an executive producer for BMF, calling him “very intelligent” and “intellectual.” Notably, 2 Chainz and 50 Cent have collaborated on several songs in the past.
BMF is a crime drama series that revolves around the Black Mafia Family crime organization. The third season of BMF was set to debut on Friday, March 1, 2024. Additionally, the show features the debut of Shaffer “Ne-Yo” Smith as well.
It’s clear that 2 Chainz took his role seriously and put in the effort to prepare for his acting role in BMF, and he is looking forward to seeing how it all comes together when the show airs.
