2 Chainz recently dropped a bombshell for his fans, hinting at the release of the long-awaited sequel to his 2016 album with Lil Wayne, Collegrove, by the end of the year.
As reported by Rock The Bells, the College Park, Georgia native disclosed during a closed set filming session that ColleGrove 2 will hit the airwaves in November.
“Me and Wayne’s album drops next month,” he said. “This is a full circle moment.”
During the session, 2 Chainz also reminisced about Lil Wayne’s unforgettable appearance on his 2007 Playaz Circle track, “Duffle Bag Boy.” He emphasized that their collaboration was rooted in a deep and meaningful connection.
“It was built on a relationship. Wayne at the time, was the hottest artist in the world. He could’ve charged me eight million, but he didn’t.”
By all indications, fans can expect a thrilling and highly-anticipated release from the dynamic duo, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne, as they continue to build on their musical legacy with ColleGrove 2.
