2 Chainz and Lil Wayne have officially released their much-anticipated collaborative album, “Welcome 2 Collegrove.” This joint project comes as a follow-up to the 2016 ColleGrove album, initially intended as a collaboration.
However, due to Lil Wayne’s contractual issues with his label, the 2016 album was credited solely to 2 Chainz, despite Lil Wayne’s significant contributions.
The title “Collegrove” is a clever blend of 2 Chainz’s hometown, College Park, Georgia, and Lil Wayne’s hometown, Hollygrove, Louisiana.
Spanning 21 tracks and just under an hour in duration, the album boasts an impressive lineup of featured artists. Notable contributors include 21 Savage, Usher, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Benny the Butcher, Marsha Ambrosius, and Vory, adding diverse and star-studded elements to the project.
The trailer below is narrated by 50 Cent. Don’t miss the opportunity to stream “Welcome 2 Collegrove” at the end of this page. Dive into the fusion of talents as 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne deliver a compelling musical experience that transcends their respective hometowns.
